Compliance with the principles and recommendations of cope, wame, dora

In its work, the editorial board is guided by the principles of COPE, WAME, DORA, and related frameworks – global standards for scholarly publications ensuring ethics, transparency, and publication quality. They define the contemporary standard for ethical and high-quality scholarly communication, and uphold the quality, transparency, and impartiality of the scientific process.

COPE Principles:

1. Academic integrity: avoidance of plagiarism and data falsification.

2. Transparency of peer review: clear submission procedures, independent and objective reviewing.

3. Accountability: clear procedures for correcting errors (retraction or clarification).

4. Correct authorship: clear definition of each author's contribution.

WAME Principles:

1. Editorial independence: the journal's founder has no right to influence publication decisions.

2. Publication quality: adherence to high standards in research.

3. Professionalism: the editorial board makes decisions based solely on the scholarly value of a publication, without bias regarding race, gender, or other characteristics.

4. Declaration of conflicts of interest: mandatory disclosure of financial or personal relationships that may affect the objectivity of a study.

DORA Principles:

1. Assessment of content: research in an article is evaluated on the basis of its scholarly merit, not the journal's rating.

2. Rejection of the Impact Factor: this indicator is not used to assess the quality of individual publications or the scholarly contribution of a specific author.

3. Openness: use of open access to publications and transparent evaluation methods.

4. Recognition of diverse research outputs: not only articles but also data, methodologies, software, patents, and other contributions are evaluated.

ICMJE Principles:

Definition of authorship in accordance with actual contribution; ensuring the ethical conduct of research (particularly with respect to the involvement of human subjects and data); and a commitment to openness and the availability of research materials.

Open Science Principles:

Promotion of open access to scientific results.

FAIR Data Principles:

Ensuring findability, accessibility, interoperability, and reusability of data.

Plan S Principles:

Support for publication policies in open-access journals and repositories.

Compliance with the principles and recommendations of COPE, WAME, DORA, and related frameworks is a mandatory requirement for authors, reviewers, and members of the journal's editorial board, directed at ensuring the high quality of publications, academic integrity, and confidence in scholarly findings.
